14th to 53rd

Guggenheim Museum or Natural History museum (only I paid to get in to my museum choice though). Meeting at Central Park to see the squirrels, lunch at the famous pizzeria in Greenwich, Forbes gallery and a massive walk from 14th Street to 53rd. Ending the day at Targets free evening at the Moma (with all the tourists who were more interested in photographing the art than actually looking at it). Back to Penn station to leave the US (sad face).

Uptown girl

After the Chrystler building lobby we get into the culture up town - Museum of NYC, hours inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, snacking on bagels or pizza and NYC cheesecake before sneaking into the Natural History Museum for free. Out later to visit a bar from Sex and the City, explore Tribeca only to head back to Soho for a dive bar. Times Square by night on the way home.

Still craving those cream cheese bagels.

Park Life

Reading NYC travel books in the sun in a local greenspace. Summer should always come early.

Jump meeting

Smarts is not keeping up with your top boss when out drinking, otherwise you might miss a trick.

Royal memorabilia

Spotted this amongst the generic British tat for the street parties on the day of the Royal Wedding. A bit more usable than a Kate and Wills memorial ash tray.

Peaceful protest

The media have led us to believe that a successful protest must include vandalism. The surrounding banks sent employees home early to avoid any mess, disappointingly the few that turned out were nearly outnumbered by police, rent-a-cops and photographers/journalists.

"Police work was restricted to stopping the traffic as the group made their way around the area, although they declined to help them when they got lost looking for one firm."

Wine o'clock

Quality conversation doesn't necessarily require high quality wine.
