Leaving the South Quay
After a two day full on workshop, I certainly earned a drink - have to be good and get home early though. 5am start tomorrow.

Nine months in
So I've been at this for 9 months now, managing 232 posts of average photos.
The original goal was to capture life here in the city and to remember what happened between holidays. But having gotten into a daily grind of the same route to and from work, it's getting difficult.
The other idea was that it would keep up my interest in photography and justify the 350D I duty-freed last year. But the last few photos have been horribly blurry or noisey and posted just to fill the quota.
So I'm struggling, my new job is sapping any energy/creativity I have for keeping this up daily. Plus my new work environment (and daily inspiration), Canary Wharf, is very clinical and concrete.
And then there is the other side of it, that old blog I started nearly four years ago and have just recently got up to date - as far as mid November '08.
Blarghh, I'm going to stop there, I hoped to even out my Aussie twang, but have instead become fluent in whinging.

The city that sleeps in
Sometimes this is just a quaint little country... Everything is closed by around 6pm during the week, and by 4/5pm on Sundays (including supermarkets). It's great for those in retail to not have unsociable hours I'm sure, but as a customer, not so great. It's bad when you miss a Westfield

Snow Patrol, O2 Arena
My first concert for the year, and a late birthday present at that. Have I managed to incorporate the diet into my lifestyle?
