14th to 53rd

Guggenheim Museum or Natural History museum (only I paid to get in to my museum choice though). Meeting at Central Park to see the squirrels, lunch at the famous pizzeria in Greenwich, Forbes gallery and a massive walk from 14th Street to 53rd. Ending the day at Targets free evening at the Moma (with all the tourists who were more interested in photographing the art than actually looking at it). Back to Penn station to leave the US (sad face).

Uptown girl

After the Chrystler building lobby we get into the culture up town - Museum of NYC, hours inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, snacking on bagels or pizza and NYC cheesecake before sneaking into the Natural History Museum for free. Out later to visit a bar from Sex and the City, explore Tribeca only to head back to Soho for a dive bar. Times Square by night on the way home.

Still craving those cream cheese bagels.

Greenwich

Greenwich walking tour - tv apartment exteriors (Friends, Carrie's apartment (Sex and the City) & The Huxtable's residence), Washington Arch. The High Line in Chelsea, Flatiron Building & Little Italy after Chinatown.

18 km of walking

Midtown walking tour - starting at Timesquare and ending at Rockefeller center


Central Park for lunch, free Staten Island ferry (and back), walk over the Brooklyn bridge and up the Empire State building after the best pizza of the trip
